Based out of Chicago, The Struggs released their debut record, The Way Things Used To Be, on October 4, 2016 to a positive response. Straight forward, sincere, catchy, pop-rock with a touch of folk and alt. country is what this 6 piece does best. Inspired by artists like Butch Walker, Counting Crows, The Lumineers, and Dawes, the band is excited to have their original music released to the world.
Throughout late 2016-2018, the band played shows in Illinois and Iowa tweaking their live show along the way. Playing mostly music from their first record, the writing continued. On January 5, 2018, the Struggs released a 3 song acoustic EP called 3 In G. Their 2nd LP, Laundry List of Ghosts will be released on May 3, 2019.
